Someone is EXCITED!!

Finally, we were able to get the "announcement" video loaded onto our blog. This video was captured the night we told Page's family and Joey's parents the good news. In order to completely surprise them, we told the group we were getting a picture for our prayer blog (which we were, kind of). The camera however was on video and captured the priceless moment.

I will give you a fair warning...turn down your volume - it is LOUD!! You'll see why...

So after waiting for many years, Joey's mom is, Lord willing, going to have a grand baby. The reaction was building up for so long, but it was worth the wait.

Tummy Tracker Week 12

Here is the Tummy Tracker for week 12. Overall, mama is feeling pretty good. A little more tired than usual and a minor headache on occasion, but fortunatley the nausea has left for the most part.

(sorry that it is out of order from the other posts...we'll do better next time)

As you can see, its about time for maternity clothes...the buttons are popping!

13 Week Ultrasound Part 1

Today was our second appointment for Baby Craft! It was all GOOD NEWS!! The Lord is still knitting our precious little one together as He sees fit.

Before we saw the baby on the ultrasound, we got to hear the heartbeat. Talk about a great sound to a parents ear!!! The heart beat was 150 beats per minute.

One of the doctor's comments was in something like "Wow, this baby is really active." Let's just hope Baby Craft is doing all his/her exercising in the womb, so that upon arrival into this world he/she will sleep like "a baby".

If you look closley, you can see Baby Craft's arm, hand, and fingers really clear.

This picture shows Baby Craft's flexibility - you can see his/her legs and feet sticking straight up.

This is mama's favorite picture of her precious little child.

Thank you all for your prayers - we ask that you continue praying for the health of both baby and mama.

13 Week Ultrasound Part 2

Here are some more pictures of Baby Craft's ultrasound @ 13 weeks. The doctor was kind enough to give us his rendition of the baby...he said too many people walk out of the office and cannot make heads or tails of the ultrasound pictures, so he helped us out. He did promise that our baby was much cuter than his hand-drawn attempt!

Here is another precious gift from God to our dear friends, Michael and Jordan Lewis. Her name is Lily Elisabeth Lewis. She was born on August 7 and these pics were taken just a few days later. Even though she was napping Aunt Page & Uncle Joey had to sneek in a give her some lovin'!!

Joey is getting a little bit more comfortable...hopefully in a few more months he will have this holding a baby thing down pat. If not, he will have to learn....QUICK!!

1st Set of PJs

We had the wonderful opportunity to spend last Friday night with the Hime family. We shared an awesome homemade meal together. Betty Crocker, err Gi, made a delicious whole wheat pizza topped with fresh veggies and chicken. Of course dessert was also in order...homemade vanilla ice cream. It doesn't get much better than pizza and ice cream, unless it is homemade pizza and ice cream!

The Hime Family: Justin, Gi, & Katie (14 months)

After dinner we opened up a present...

Baby Craft's 1st set of PJs!!

Are we naive to think that these PJs will be great when Baby Craft takes his/her afternoon naps with Mommy & Daddy on Sunday afternoon? So many couples have told us those will be a thing of the past, but we are still holding out hope!

Tummy Tracker - Week 10

Our goal is to post a picture every week for the "tummy tracker." So far we have been faithful to do so, but we'll have to see how long that lasts. Here is the mom-to-be at Week 10.

We ask for your prayers as God continues to intricately weave each and every part of our wonderful baby together.

Practice Makes Perfect

How precious is this little guy? For those of you who do not recognize him, Judah is the gracious gift of God to Nathan and Andi, our fellow church planting team members. We figured a good way to grow our church was to start having babies.

Joey, of course, does not look quite as natural as Page. Although, Judah does not seem to notice the difference.

Tummy Tracker

Over the next few months we plan to track the tummy growth. Here are the first two pictures.

Page @ 8 weeks

Page @ 9 weeks

More to come soon...

1st Ultrasound

Yesterday (July 31, 2008) we had our first official doctor's visit. Up to this point we only had a guesstimate of how far long the pregnancy was. Page's guess was 10 weeks. Joey's guess was 9 weeks. It was up to the doctor to provide the official count. Drum roll...

9 Weeks and 3 days! That puts the due date on March 2, 2009!

Here is a pic of our baby:
He/She is ~2 inches in length. Hearbeat is ~160 bpm.

It was so surreal to see the arms, legs, and beating heart. It is unbelievable to think people can see a baby in a womb with all the intricacies and not believe in a Creator. To think such a beautiful, wonderful creation happened by chance is absolutely crazy.

It's About Time

Many of you are uttering those words, "It's about time!" Yep, that's right folks, Page is pregnant!!! After five years of marriage, we have a baby on the way. The Lord is so good and we are so blessed to know that He is intricately knitting our baby together in his/her mother's womb. The words of the Psalmist have a new meaning to the Crafts:

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance;in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me,when as yet there was none of them. (Psalm 13913-16)

Here are a few pics from the announcement....
