4 months old,Today!!!

Sayde turned 4 months old today. Crazy!!! Oh how time is flying by. I snapped a few shots of her waking up this morning (big yawn), in her bloomers (she is posing) and in her pretty plaid sundress (thanks Carmen). She is really starting to get a personality. She laughs, smiles and coos all the time. She brings much joy to my day. Thank you sweet and loving Heavenly Father for such an precious little girl.

Delayed 1st Father's Day

Hurray!!! Joey is feeling much better, after a
week long battle with viral meningitis! Yikes!Praise be to our awesome and precious Heavenly Father, who lavished such grace on our family this past week. I am so thankful that it was nothing more than viral meningitis. We appreciate all your prayers this past week, phone calls and sweet Larry Lyon, who stayed with my hubby in the emergency room and Stephanie who cooked us a delicious dinner. My heart is overjoyed at the wonderful love that has been poured out on us. Thank you!!

Since Joey was not feeling well on Father's day, we (Sayde and I) decided to delay it and celebrate it when he was feeling better! Today was the day!!! Joey's 1st Father's Day!! The day started out with a little snuggling from Sayde, breakfast in bed, a picnic in the park, and chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels- Yummy!!!

You are truly an amazing husband that serves and loves me well. You are a incredible Father to Sayde. She is getting a true picture of what a Godly Husband should be- it is you!!! Thank you my love!!! We love you bunches!! Happy First Father's Day!!!

The Knight's visit Wake Forest

2 weeks ago the Knights came in town to visit. We had a blast seeing our dear friends (we miss them so). Sayde loved seeing her man Judah. He has gotten so big!!!

Better Late Than Never

JOEY GRADUATED!!!! My hard working and dedicated hubby graduated from South Eastern Seminary on May 22nd. I am just now getting pictures up of this glorious day (so sorry sweetheart). First off, I want to let my husband know how proud I am of him. Joey, you have worked super hard to finish your degree in 2 years. Whew!! Not to mention working a part time job, taking an extra load of classes, helping assist with small group, becoming a new father and Oh planting a church in DC!!!! Go Joey! You have loved and served your family well during this time. Thank you, I love you and I couldn't be more proud of YOU!!

A huge thanks to Joey's parents, brother Tyler and my parents who came in town to celebrate this glorious event!!

Annual Family Beach Trip

Joey, myself and Sayde packed up right after Joey's graduation from Southeastern to head to the beach. We had a fabulous time. Here are some pictures of me with my sisters, the couples night out, sandcastles fun with Joey and Nana and Sayde relaxing in the sun!!! More pictures are to come.

The Mother's day gifts keep on coming!!!

Okay, I meant to blog last week, however we were having computer problems!! So here I go. My sweet and precious husband surprised me with a beautiful mother's day gift. Joey was bummed that it didn't arrive before Mother's day, I on the other hand didn't mind one bit. So on Tuesday after dropping Cindy off at the airport, I come home and there my present sits. It was a beautiful photo album full of pics from when Sayde was born up to Easter. Wow!! My heart just melted and I kept telling Sayde, "Boy do you a sweet daddy who loves your mommy well!" Thank my dear. I absolutely love it!!!

Also, my precious friend Jamie surprised me with a gift as well. She too made up a photo album. This album was complied with all my pictures from before I had Sayde (Pregnancy pics). It is amazing!!! Thank you thank you Jamie!! I love you girl!! I can't wait to share this with Sayde one day.
