A Weekend Trip to DC (future home)

Hello friends!! This weekend we are heading to DC to find a place to live. We will be staying with the Knights- Can't wait!! Please be in prayer for our time their. May the Lord make it abundantly clear where we are going to live. We trust in his word, knowing that we serve a sovereign Father who constantly has his hands in every single detail. May we make much of Christ in all that we do, say, and think!!!

Wake-up my sleepy head!!! I just love going into Sayde's room and getting her up from her naps! She is always full of smiles. This week Sayde started to roll over to the side. She is not quite there yet in rolling over completely, but she is getting close. Oh no, I better watch out! The last picture is me and my baby girl snoozing on the couch! Got to love some snuggle time!

Happy 4th of July

This morning Sayde and I met up with the Lewis ladies (Jordan and Lily) to watch the annual Wake Forest Fourth of July Parade!! We had a blast cheering everyone on! Check-out Miss Sayde sitting up right in her little stroller!! This was the first time for that and she loved looking out. Happy Fourth of July!!

Really~~ Sayde is 4 months old today!!!

We decided to do a little photo shoot. Sayde loved every minute of it!!! She was all smiles!!! The shirt that says "99% Angel" well that is for you Pop-Pop!!! Love you guys!!

4 months old,Today!!!

Sayde turned 4 months old today. Crazy!!! Oh how time is flying by. I snapped a few shots of her waking up this morning (big yawn), in her bloomers (she is posing) and in her pretty plaid sundress (thanks Carmen). She is really starting to get a personality. She laughs, smiles and coos all the time. She brings much joy to my day. Thank you sweet and loving Heavenly Father for such an precious little girl.
I just love her so...

Delayed 1st Father's Day

Hurray!!! Joey is feeling much better, after a
week long battle with viral meningitis! Yikes!Praise be to our awesome and precious Heavenly Father, who lavished such grace on our family this past week. I am so thankful that it was nothing more than viral meningitis. We appreciate all your prayers this past week, phone calls and sweet Larry Lyon, who stayed with my hubby in the emergency room and Stephanie who cooked us a delicious dinner. My heart is overjoyed at the wonderful love that has been poured out on us. Thank you!!

Since Joey was not feeling well on Father's day, we (Sayde and I) decided to delay it and celebrate it when he was feeling better! Today was the day!!! Joey's 1st Father's Day!! The day started out with a little snuggling from Sayde, breakfast in bed, a picnic in the park, and chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels- Yummy!!!

The Knight's visit Wake Forest

2 weeks ago the Knights came in town to visit. We had a blast seeing our dear friends (we miss them so). Sayde loved seeing her man Judah. He has gotten so big!!!
