Thank You For Your Prayers...And Please Continue

Thank you for your prayers last weekend. We (the Crafts & the Knights) had an extremely profitable trip to DC. Your prayers undoubtedly went before us and unleashed the grace of God. Restoration Church, Lord willing, will soon be a reality and will bring the power of the gospel to many lives, in northwest DC and around the world.

Please continue to pray for us as we continue working out the details of our church plant. The whole process is kind of like an onion...you get through one layer only to find another!

Tummy Tracker - Week 25

Moving towards the home stretch. Here is an update @ week 25:

Sayde's hands are now fully developed and she spends most of her awake time groping around in the darkness of Page'suterus. Brain and nerve endings are developed enough now so that Sayde can feel the sensation of touch.

Sayde's arms and legs have grown to almost the proportions they will be at birth and her nostrils, which have been plugged up until now, clear out - she can practice breathing through the nose. The structures of Sayde's spine are now made up of 150 joints, 33 rings and some 1,000 ligaments.

Sayde weighs about a pound and a half and is about 13½ inches long—roughly the length of one of those recorders you played in elementary school music class.

Absolutely AMAZING our God is!!!

Here is Page taking an afternoon nap with here little boys...they are getting all the snuggling they can before little Sayde arrives!

Restoration Church is coming to a place near you...if you live in DC

Family & Friends-

Please take a brief moment and pray for the Crafts and the Knights as we go to DC on 11/14-11/16. We are headed up to do some "scouting work."

Prayers
Our relationship with Capital Hill (a very strong, gospel-centered church in DC) will be strengthened - we are staying with one of their elders.

The weekend will be a great time of deepening friendship between us all.

Our investigation of housing options will be profitable.

We would be able to meet with the pastor of Temple Baptist (a church whose space we hope to use when, Lord willing, the need arises).

We would seek the Lord and be increasingly burdened for the city.

"Jesus must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets." Acts 3:21

Tummy Tracker - Week 24

It is hard to believe week 24 is coming to a close. God is gracious to us as he continues to knit Sayde together inside her mother's womb.

Here is the crib that Page's older sister Kim has graciously given to us...before too long the guest bedroom/office will be transformed into Sayde's room. Joey will have to find a new place to read...but he thinks its worth it!

Trick or Treat?

On Halloween we had a "PARTAY" at our friends house, Hugh and Hollie Carson. Of course, you had to be in costume to get in the door. We opted for some 1980s attire...you can never go wrong with a neon warm-up suit and a mullet wig!!

Here is a group shot of the guys.

And the gals.

Here is the 1983 Region Champ Football coach and his wife, the Jazzercise instructor.

In action.

Nathan, Andi, & Judah dressed up as the story of the Bible. Creation (the globe), Rebellion/Sin (Nathan in all black), Redemption/Salvation (Judah as the Cross), Restoration/Heaven (Andi as the bride). I think Nathan is right in saying that this is probably the first time in the history of the world someone has dressed up as the story of the Bible.

Do you think these outfits will work when we are church planting in D.C.?

Who said a bunch of seminarians can't have fun!

Tummy Tracker - Week 22

Here is the Tummy Tracker for Week 22. Good News - Page's belly is growing!!! This is what is going on inside her womb:

"Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango) you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb."
Mommy feels her move often these days, but daddy has yet to have the experience.
It's hard to believe there is only 119 days to go!!
