Mission Team, SNOW, and Lots of Toys

This past weekend we had a mission team of 7 adults come from Raleigh, NC. They were here to help pass out bags and flyer's for a Christmas project Restoration Church was participating. They walked door to door and passed info in the SNOW to nearly 500 homes!! Wow, they were troopers!!! Below you can see that it was a HUGE success!!! This morning the boys went around to these homes to pick up the presents. Our car was overflowing with toys for the Ronald McDonald House!! Praise the Lord!!! Thank you again to the Mission Team.
You guys rock!!

Mission Team warming up!!!

Let it snow, let it snow!!!

This is Sayde's first time in the snow, the last time it snowed was when we were on the way to the hospital to have Sayde. I can't believe that 9 months have come and gone!

Family Day at Mt. Vernon

Today was "Family Day" for the Crafts. We started off the morning at Sayde's 9 month wellness checkup (she is doing great) and then headed off to Mt. Vernon. We had a wonderful time looking at George Washington's estate. It is amazing to think what life was like then. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pics inside his house. Take a look at the pics that we did get!!!

Chocolate making booth- delicious!!! Back then hot chocolate was a common drink each morning .
Poor Sayde all worn out!! She was such a trooper!!

Posing with my sweet hubby!

Thanksgiving Restoration Style

Take 2!!! We celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunday night. It was potluck style. We had plenty of delicious food. It was so nice to fellowship with one another. We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you Heavenly Father for the gracious gift of Jesus Christ, that I can have a personal relationship with you!!!

Decorated and All

Say Cheese!!! Great Family shot in front of our decorated tree.
We surprised Pop-pop, while he was watching his team South Carolina Gamecocks, we dressed Sayde in her Gamecocks sweater (made by guess who, grandma-ma). He was so excited!!! They won that day, I think this sweater brings good luck!!!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Nothing like cutting down your own Christmas tree. So on Friday morning we headed out to Butler Orchard to find the perfect Christmas tree. It has been 2 years since we have had one of our very own. It was so nice to decorate our tree with mom and dad! We cranked up the Christmas music and went to trimming the tree!!!!
