Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

This morning we woke up to SNOW!! Here are a couple of pics from our patio:

Joey still had class and snapped a few shots of the snow covered SEBTS campus:

Grandbaby Hope Chest

Its real. For years whenever Joey's Mom was knitting a baby item and it was too cute to give away, she said "This one is for the Grandbaby hope chest." Well, that was not just a saying, part of the hope chest has been revealed!! Look below...all the items were handmade by Grandmama for little Sayde.

Sweaters, booties, blankets, and more!

Somehow a South Carolina Gamecock sweather found its way into the hope chest. Thats alright, it brought a HUGE smile to Pop-Pop.

Look how cute!

Here is Sayde's very own blankie handmade by Grandmama. Look closely and can see her name going diagonal.

Here is another sweater and booties that Grandmama made for Sayde. Look how small they are...barely bigger than a $1 bill!!

Sayde has her own Uggs!

Tummy Tracker - Week 33

A few more weeks!!!

The big news this week is lung development—Sayde’s respiratory system is almost completely mature.

Sayde can now detect light and tell the difference between night and day. Her pupils will constrict and dilate in response to light.

The bones in Sayde’s skull are soft and are not yet fused together. This pliability allows the bones to overlap; making that trip down the tight birth canal possible.

Sayde will continue to pack on the pounds gaining around ½ pound a week from here on out. Sayde weighs about 4½ pounds and is approximately 17.5 inches long.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

Page had another doctor's appointment this past Monday. Everything still appears to be normal. So we give abundant praise for God's grace in our lives. The doctor did bring up the possibility of a c-section. Given Page's small frame she (the doctor) wanted to let us know there is a chance for a c-section.

We ask you to pray for:

1-Praise God for His goodness to us.
2-Sayde to not be breached when we go back in a couple of weeks.
3-The Lord to prepare our hearts for whatever type of delivery happens - we will leave the type in His hands.

Thank you for your prayer and sharing this journey with us.

Roling, Rolling, Rolling

We are now officially prepared to travel with Sayde. The stroller/car seat combo was given to us at a shower by Nana, Aunt Brandy & Aunt Kim. The assembly required tag was not as scary as we thought it was going to be.

Tummy Tracker - Week 32

We know all y'all are asking "What is Sayde doing in Mom's womb these days?"

Well, she's busy blinking, looking around, grabbing things, making faces, practicing her breathing, peeing and listening to everything around her, especially when her daddy says to her “I love you Sayde!” She is doing pretty much exactly what she'll be doing for the first three months of her life…being the cutest baby girl ever!!

Sayde may (or may not) have a full head of hair now. Only time will tell on this one. By the end of this week, Sayde will weigh about 4 pounds and be between 17 and 18 inches long.

Notice the nursery in the background. It is coming along and Sayde will be here before we know it!
